I’m a bit late in posting this. Where does the time go?! I decided to repeat or continue February’s resolution, since it didn’t work out the way I wanted to.
The goal was to reduce our energy usage by 10%, getting it down to 60 Kwh a week. We’ve had our ups and downs, and it turns out it’s very easy to slip back once to stop paying close attention to it. Much like watching what you eat, once the novelty has worn of, you tend to slip back into old habits. If you stick to something long enough though, new habits will form, and it’ll become easy again.
I won’t keep you waiting any longer. I’m proud to tell you the past two weeks we’ve used 57,4 and 57,5 Kwh respectively. Out month average was a little over our goal (60,9 Kwh), but since the graph is obviously showing a downward trend, I really do consider this a win.
I know April has already started and I should announce April’s resolution today, but in all honesty… I really don’t know what I would like to change at the moment. I have to take my pregnancy into account, and I know over the course of the month I’ll probably be getting more and more tired. So give me a few days to come up with a suitable resolution, and I’ll tell you about it in my next blogpost.
